how-muffin1 CUT a square of parchment paper for each muffin cup. Cut 5-inch squares for regular size 12-cup muffin pans. Cut 6-inch squares for extra large 6-cup muffin pans.

TIP: It’s helpful to measure and lightly pencil the outline of the squares on the parchment paper before cutting.
how-muffin2 CENTER 1 piece of parchment over a muffin cup. Gently push it down into the cup, pressing sides and bottom, creasing the parchment to fit the cup.
how-muffin4 REPEAT to form liner for all cups.

NOTE: The parchment will pop up but don’t worry, it will sink down into the cup when filled with batter.

FILL each muffin cup 2/3 full with batter. Bake according to recipe.
